Writing the sentence under the zone

28 June 2026 · Hannah Cole

Chart Clinics open with a quiet request: send three charts, each with a short note under every horizontal you care about. Traders who arrive with naked lines spend the first fifteen minutes inventing reasons on the call. That invention is useful data — it shows which levels were habits rather than observations.

A workable sentence names the structure and the condition. Example: “Demand from the 14 May swing low, still intact while daily closes remain above the zone.” Example of a weak sentence: “Strong support.” The second does not help you decide when to erase the zone.

We keep sentences short on purpose. Long essays hide uncertainty. After the clinic, revise the three charts at home and read the sentences again before the next London week. If a sentence no longer fits the latest closes, the zone goes — even if the line looked tidy.
